May 20, 2009 - Semifinal duels
By results of the semifinal duels which have taken place on May, 20th of 8 Russian sportsmen have won the right to struggle for a gold medal.
Kostylev Vitaly (51 kg) - Nadin Меа (England). A confident victory 5:0.
Kalashchan Garik (60 kg) - Tselitsa Janis (Belarus). A victory the unanimous decision of judges 5:0.
Ulyanov Alexey (63,5 kg) - Semerin Roman (Kazakhstan). Fight was very strained. In first two rounds Semerin showed worthy resistance to Ulyanov, but two the subsequent a round Alexey confidently went to a victory. Judges have given a victory to the Russian with the account 3:2. However …. The victory is given by the decision of the main judiciary board to the sportsman from Kazakhstan?! …. On the protest submitted the Russian representatives, the answer has sounded: «you and so it is too much in the ending». We can not make comments on opinion of the main judge. It is very insulting for Alexey …. But, nevertheless, the bronze prize-winner!
Peters Igors (67 kg) - Luukkanen Graze (Finland). And again a victory with the account 5:0.
Huzin Konstantin (71 kg) - Dapkus Ernestas (Lithuania). The Lithuanian was late for fight and has been disqualified. Huzin in the ending!
Levin Artem (75 kg) - Dmitry Valent (Belarus). A confident victory (5:0) over the skilled, Belarus sportsman having many victories.
Vakhitov Artem (81 kg) - Sener Serhat (Turkey). One more finalist, a victory 5:0.
Priests Vladislav (86 kg) - Sengirov Nurbolt (Kazakhstan). The Omsk sportsman did not begin to differ from the majority. A victory 5:0.
Shelepov Simeon (91 kg) - Lakes Mehmet (Turkey). A beautiful, entertainment victory. Throughout all fight Simeon persistently dominated. The Turk has twice visited in knock-down. Good fellow Simeon!
In the ending of men, on May, 22nd, from our command 9 fighters box.
